Durini Castle

This magnificent residence, with origins dating back to before the year 1000, has hosted many illustrious guests throughout its long history, including Parini, Rossini, Verga, and the royals of the House of Savoy. The architectural complex is built around an ancient late Roman tower, with a succession of architectural interventions continuing until the 19th century.
Location and interiors
Surrounded by a 300-hectare estate, a centuries-old park, and a unique Italian-style hanging garden in Lombardy, it sits on a hilltop offering spectacular 360-degree views of the surrounding green countryside, Monte Rosa, the Grigne mountains, and even Milan.
Inside, the splendid rooms available for your reception are characterized by precious antique paintings and exquisite furnishings, including the famous Durini table, created by sculptor Giuseppe Rusnati in the mid-17th century.
Weddings and events
There are eight rooms available, each with a total capacity of 430 seated guests and 800 standing guests for a buffet reception.
